What is TASTE Takeover?

TASTE Takeover is the only veteran-led, Latina, queer nonprofit in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area, as well as the tri-state region, dedicated to our mission. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to serving the public by creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for the LGBTQ+ Latinx community in the DC Capital Region.

Through charitable and community-focused initiatives, TASTE Takeover strives to promote equality, increase access to essential resources, and foster a strong sense of belonging. By curating culturally rich experiences, advocacy efforts, and support programs, we work to uplift, empower, and amplify the voices of this underserved community, ensuring they have the tools, opportunities, and support needed to thrive both socially and economically.

MEET OUR TEAM

Natasha Sebastiani

Founder & President

Natasha is a passionate community builder who loves helping others and creating inclusive spaces for the LGBTQ+ Latinx community. Married to Daniela, she is an Air Force veteran originally from Venezuela, raised just outside Philadelphia, and now based in Northern Virginia.

She holds a **bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice** and a **master’s in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics**, combining her expertise with her dedication to advocacy. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, Natasha also enjoys watching sports and bringing people together to make a difference. 🏳️‍🌈⚡🏆

Daniela Arteaga Hernandez

Vice-President & Director

Originally from Cali, Colombia, Daniela is a project manager by profession, a dedicated mother, and a passionate advocate for community building and inclusive events. Now married to Natasha, she channels her love for helping others into creating meaningful experiences that uplift the LGBTQ+ Latinx community.

She is currently learning English and has a special talent for event and party decoration. She loves working with balloons, flowers, and designing both indoor and outdoor spaces, transforming any occasion into something magical and memorable. 🎈🌸✨

Luciana M.

Family Event Game Coordinator

Luciana, our daughter, is a vibrant 10-year-old from Cali, Colombia, who brings energy and creativity wherever she goes! 🎭🎶 She loves playing games, dancing, acting, singing, and theater—always ready to put on a show! 🎤💃

When she’s not leading the fun, she’s training in MMA 🥋💪, proving she’s both fierce and fearless! Bilingual in **English and Spanish**, she’s always ready to connect, learn, and take on new adventures! 🌎🔥

🎶 Live band will play for 3 hours (once we decide to start, so arrive early to enjoy the full set!)
🍽 Food available until 1 AM
🚗 Parking: Lot next door + free street parking after 9 PM
Space to dance with the band + other areas for conversations & food

💳 Entrance Donation Process:
If you donated via Venmo, Zelle, Eventbrite, etc., show your confirmation at the door with your ID for entry. You’ll receive a wristband, which you must wear to purchase drinks at the bar. If we see anyone without a wristband inside, they will be asked to send the donation. Please don’t remove it!
